About Me
A Therapeutic Approach
Ultimately, this is a practice of getting to know yourself, through yourself, to heal yourself. It's a beautiful moment when you have this realization; when you realize that you hold the key to deep healing. I've always had a passion to work in the mental health industry. As someone who personally struggled with mental health, I knew that my life’s work was best served helping others find peace and ease through their own personal struggles. I currently hold a BA in psychology and have 3 years of experience working side by side with therapists assisting in client treatment plans. My 1000 yoga teaching hours, 500 of which are therapeutic private services, with a focus on trauma-informed care, have been a true honor to offer as my passion is helping others discover their own innate tools to heal. This approach implements the application of yoga postures and practice to the treatment of health conditions and involves instruction in yogic practices and teachings to prevent, reduce, or alleviate structural, physiological, emotional, and spiritual pain, suffering or limitations.

GYMNASTICS & CHEER
My foundation and first love was in functional movement. My entire life was spent in the gym where my world revolved around the potential of the physical body. Yoga was a very easy choice as it implemented the aspects of functional movement in a much more mindful way then I had previously been taught. I fell in love with the yoga practice as a tool to recover from injuries, for injury prevention, and to help athletes learn focus and psychological tools to improve their careers. Yoga and meditation tools have been proven to be effective for overall performance, to cope with the stress of a competitive sport, and to help in mindful awareness and connection to your body.
